I am having troulble when coneecting my HP Spectre x360 to a Logi Dock with dual montiors. One monitor is fine but it won't automatially resize the other monitor to the same resolution. My wife's laptop is a Dell and everything converts fine when it is plugged in. Is there a setting I'm missing on my laptop?

@LeeMan58, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Dual Monitor Issues with HP Spectre x360!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
When facing display issues with dual monitors on your HP Spectre x360 connected to a docking station, there are several steps you can take to ensure both monitors are functioning correctly:
Check Display Settings:
- Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
- Locate the displays and ensure that both monitors are recognized.
- Adjust the resolution settings so that both monitors match or set according to your preference.
Update Graphics Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest graphics drivers for your HP Spectre x360.
- Install the drivers and restart your computer to see if the problem persists.
Configure Monitor Display Mode:
- Again in Display settings, check the Multiple displays section.
- Ensure it is set to "Extend these displays" if you want independent display.
Docking Station Issues:
- Check if the docking station requires software or firmware updates that might affect display settings.
- Ensure that the docking station is connected properly, and try switching the ports.
Resolution Scaling:
- If the resolution does not automatically adjust, try manually setting it to match under settings for each monitor.
Experiment with Cable Connections:
- Sometimes simply disconnecting and reconnecting, or swapping the cables between ports can resolve recognition issues.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to check docking compatibility with HP models
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
