Hello, I'm trying to set up two external monitors (extended display) to my laptop.

 

I have a newer BENQ monitor with HDMI that I can connect directly to the laptop HDMI port. But my second Dell monitor is a bit older and only has VGA and DVI connections so I'm looking to connect it to the laptop via a DVI to displayport  (which I have) then I want to use a displayport to thunderbolt adapter to connect it to the laptop.

 

I found this displayport to thunderbolt adapter on the HP website called HP USB-C to DP Adapter (N9K78UT)

 

Is this adapter compatible with my HP Zbook 15 G5 4RA10UT#ABA laptop?

Update! I purchased both of these adapters which are compatible with my Zbook laptop. Problem solved.

Its specs say it is compatible with the HP Elite x2 1012 G1, HP Pro Tablet 608 G1 as shown:
