Spectre x360 13t-4200 laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased my Spectre x360 13t-4200 laptop in the summer of 2016. The latest Windows 10 64-bit is installed, with Windows Ink.  I am looking to purchase a digital stylus pen for drawing input. What current model HP pen will work with this. I have checked the hp support page for pen compatibility, and the model number only goes to -4100. I assumed -4200 would be similar, so I purchased the HP Active Pen. It did not work. It never 'turned on' by touching the screen. How about the Hp Pro Tablet Active Pen? Any third party pens that might work? Thanks.

Please check the following compatible list to select a right one.

If your machine is not on the list, it may not support a stylus at all.

Regards.

Banhien,

Yes, I have checked that list. The models x360 13-4000 and x360-4100 have compatible pens, but 13-4200 is not listed. Wouldn't the 4200 be a newer model? I would think that the 4200 supports a stylus, if the 4000 and 4100 do. Maybe not. Does it being an Energy Star model have anything to do with compatibility?
