HP ProBook x360 435 G8
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

today I got my HP ProBook x360 435 G8 Notebook with the MPP 2.0 Pen. I was super excited but after the windows installation. I faced the problem that the pen simply doesn't work. It is fully charged.

Unfortunatly I can't even create a support ticket since when I enter the serial number I findes a chromebox instead of the probook?!

Can you please help me how I can bring the pen to work?

Best Regards,
Marcel

This system might support a stylus - I did find a reference for at least one of the many models:

Product Number:  2X7P5EA — HP ProBook x360 435 G8 Notebook PC

Accessories

8JU62AA

HP Pro Pen G1

Accessories

8JU62UT

HP Pro Pen G1

Accessories

8MP61AA

HP Pro Pen Nib Set

What this computer might not do is support the MPP pen - from what I have found, the MPP is wrong pen / wrong stylus for the Probook series.  Not sure why you would have received an MPP pen with this system.  ?  I could be wrong, of course...

Best have the Product Number for the model and then check for a supported pen / stylus.

I can't see it has stylus option. Does it support stylus(es) at all ?
