Example: MPP 2.0 Rechargeable TILT PEN 2020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

New Envy x360 15.6 Ryzen 7 (2020) Running Windows 10 Home Edition, I order it with the MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen, however in the first attempt to use the pen it didn’t work.

Pen is full charged

Not visible in Bluetooth & other devices of the control panel settings

In Add a device (Bluetooth) is not visible either.

Computer is up to date, including BIOS and drivers. 
From my understanding and since I saw there’s already some clients with the same problem with this product I would say I have or a defective product or a Windows driver issue that doesn’t allow the pen to be discovered by the computer. 
Some input to solve this would be appreciated as I can’t find in the web almost any information about the new MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen. 
I would appreciate also since I order and bought my products from the HP online store were can I physically go In the Chicago area to have my pen tested and replaced if needed.

Is the pen compatible with your computer??

There are no drivers - so, yes, if compatible, pen should work.

 

Check Compatibility >> I cannot figure out which computer model you have.

 

Finding your Product Name, Product Number, or Serial Number

Please do NOT post the serial number.

The only Chicago I know about is the city of Chicago in the United States.  Smiling.

 

Note that in the case of a pen of this type, there are no actual "repair" options.

Repair centers do not accept "returns" of this type and they do not likely keep pens in stock as a "replacement part".

Pen should work after having installed all Windows Updates and the Software and Drivers for HP.

 

You'll need to contact HP Support .

 

Use the serial number of the computer to submit the case.

 

Explain that the pen is new, computer is new, no pen drivers necessary, and that pen does not work.

 

Find the tiny Product Number of the pen on the pen barrel and include that in your case submission.

  • If necessary, Select your Country on the main website page or at the bottom (click Flag)
  • Scroll down > To the right of Check multiple warranties, Click Continue
