Hi @8CG137HV6X,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for reaching out. I'll be glad to help you with the touchpad issue on your HP Pavilion x360.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Enable the Touchpad

  • Double-tap the upper-left corner of the touchpad. Some HP models use this as a touchpad on/off switch.

  • Alternatively, try the touchpad function key (such as Fn + F5, Fn + F6, or Fn + F9, depending on your model).

2. Check Touchpad Settings

  1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.

  2. Navigate to Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad.

  3. Make sure the touchpad is enabled.

3. Reinstall the Touchpad Driver

  1. Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.

  2. Expand Mice and other pointing devices.

  3. Right-click the ELAN or Synaptics Touchpad device and select Uninstall device.

  4. Restart the computer and allow Windows to reinstall the driver automatically.

4. Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Shut down the notebook.

  2. Disconnect the power adapter and all external devices.

  3. Press and hold the Power button for 15–25 seconds.

  4. Reconnect the power adapter and turn the notebook on.

For additional guidance, please refer to: How to fix the touchpad on HP Notebooks running Windows 11 | HP Computers | HP | HP Support

If the touchpad still does not work after completing these steps, please let us know the exact HP Pavilion x360 model number and whether the issue started after a Windows update or any recent change.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day!

I'm an HP Employee.
