I have a HP usb c doc G5 5yh26AV#aba and a MacBook Pro (2019 Monterey). The doc is connected to two monitors and I need to switch between an HP laptop and my MacBook pro throughout the day and I'm wondering if there are any restrictions or specific requirements for the dock usage or connection? I already tried to get into the HP support site but the serial number I have is being rejected. Are there any restrictions or specific requirements for the dock usage or connection with a MacBook Pro?

HP USB-C G5 and Macbook Pro are NOT compatible. That connection won't work. The dock is compatible with the following machines
