Product: HP EliteDisplay E243d 23.8-inch Docking Monitor:
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Does the HP EliteDisplay E243d 23.8-inch Docking Monitor work at 1920 by 1080 on any new HP laptop? I have an old HP Z Book that lacks an HDMI slot so I'm contemplating purchasing a new HP laptop. An expensive way out of the problem.

Hello
which is exactly you zbook model G1 , G2 15 , 17 15u , 14u ?
if you old zbook has a DisplayPort port ,just buy a normal monitor such as E243 or E243m. you can connect the display using DP cable.
why are you thinking to a E243d ? do you need the USB docking integrated into the monitor ?
bye
