HP Elitebook 745 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I am using the HP Elitebook 745 G3 which has the Radeon R6 Graphics.

The Laptop screen is running at Full HD 1080P resolution. I would like to understand what is the maximum display resolution this laptop based on the Radeon R6 Graphics would support on an external Monitor when connected via the Display Port?

I am planning to buy an External Large Monitor and will decide whether to go for a 1080P (Full HD), 2K (1440P) or 4K (2160P) Monitor based on this information.

Thanks!

Hello

745 G3 quickspecs : https://www.ingrammicro.at/pdf/EB755-G3_V08.pdf

VGA
Port supports resolutions up to 1900 x 1200 external resolution @60 Hz

DisplayPort
Supports resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz
Resolutions are dependent upon monitor capability, and resolution and color depth settings
