ZBook 17 G6 (6CK23AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to buy a monitor for my ZBook 17 G6 with Nvidia Quadro RTX 3000 Graphics - so I can use the ZBook monitor alongside the new monitor (dual display for increased desktop size) but I'm unsure which resolution to choose. Is it worth choosing a resultion above HD 1920x1080 (ie. QHD 2560x1440 or higher)? or can the graphics card anyway not handle this?

Thanks

Your machine has many ports, and 2 simple ports you can use for external monitor

  • HDMI 2.0b (models with discrete graphics), HDMI 1.4 (models with UMA graphics)
  • Mini DisplayPort 1.4 (models with discrete graphics, mini-DisplayPort 1.2 (models with UMA graphics)

You can get up to 4K monitors on HDMI 2.0b or DisplayPort 1.4

Regards.
