Pavilion x360-15-bk152sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to use a television as an extended screen. When directly connected with an HDMI cable it all works well.

But I want to use a wireless connection. I have a Microsoft 'MSDisplay Adapter_01' ( v2).. When this is connected to the TV it initialises an comes up with a 'Waiting Connection' on the TV screen - just as expected.

On the laptop. I get to 'Connect to a wireless dispay'. Click on that an it readily finds the TV adapter and tries to connect.

The little blue dots parade across the top of the 'Connect' window for a short while., then stop and nothing else happens - no connection at all.

Meanwhile, on the TV, as the blue dots are running on the laptop, the TV screen displays Connecting to Computer name, and three dots cycle round. This is until the blue ots on the laptop stop, whereupon the TV reverts to Waiting Connection.

So I have wireless communication with the TV but no 'second screen'

I have done all the latest Winows updates.

Also via the HP website I have update the BIOS an anything else that looked as though it may help.

None of this has made any difference.

How do I proceed to make it work?

Regards

Pete
