Hello community,
I have an HP Envy Dv4t - 5200 running 3rd gen i7 alongside intel HD 4000, i am running on windows 10 64 bit & after the latest update the laptop won't connect to my TV using HDMI cable. Usually my f4 key has a project shortcut which I used before but after the update when I press f4 it shows "Your PC can't project to another screen. Try reinstalling the driver or using a different video card." So to reinstall the driver I opened device manager & in there the display adapter option was missing & in other devices there's a new device called "video controller (VGA Compatible)" which was never there before. (Attaching Screenshots below) So I went to HP's site downloaded the graphics drivers but it won't install giving an error "This computer does not meet the basic requirements for installing the software." And since then my laptop can't buffer any HD video (stutters in videos!!) can't play games, won't start anything that requires graphics.
It also had beats audio & subwoofer died after the windows 10 update & beats control panel is missing. (But this is an older issue & not at all a priority just help with graphics if you don't have time.')
Please help thumbs in advance & thanks for reading this long message & helping!
Have a great day! Stay Safe.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the graphics driver on your computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I see that there are no drivers for Windows 10 for your computer from HP. I recommend you install all the Windows updates (Including optional) as the drivers need to be updated from Microsoft for your computer.
Here is how it is done.
- Select the Start (Windows) button from the bottom-left corner.
- Go to settings (gear icon).
- Select the Update and Security icon.
- Choose Windows Update tab in the sidebar (Circular arrows)
- Select Check for updates. If there is an available update, it will begin downloading automatically.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
