Product: HP Pavilion Laptop 13-an0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, recently I bought an external monitor for my laptop. I had an old one, and it works fine, but I decided to buy a new one. The new one external monitor is flickering ( flashing on and off). I have updated the graphics drivers, bios, I changed the HDMI cables, but the issue exists. I test the monitor to other laptops, and it works fine. I do not know that is the problem. Any suggestions?

(a) What EXACTLY is your HP Pavilion Laptop 13-an0xxx  ?   Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

 

(b) How do you connect the monitor ? Direct HDMI or something else ?

I have the same problem. The auxiliary display does not stop blinking. I changed the screen and it is still happening. I changed the cable and it is still happening. I Changed the USBC adapter --- VGA and it still happening

Thanks for the reply.  HP Pavilion laptop model: 13-an0002nv

ProdID : 5KS55EA#AB7.

I'm connecting the monitor directly with HDMI. I  tried to connect also with VGA cable but has the same issue
