Product: HP EliteDisplay S240uj 23.8-inch USB-C Wireless Charging Monitor
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Hi,

 

my external monitor stopped working working when using USB-C as the video source. I tried connecting different computers and tried different USB-C cabels to connect to the monitor.

Previosly, laptops also got charged while connected to the monitors USB-C port. that stopped working as well. only the USB hub funtion of the monitor is still functional. But my laptop is not recognizing the monitor.

I already reset the monitor to factory settings. Did not fix the issue.

Connecting to the Monitor via HDMI still works. Hence I think that the issue is only related to the usb-c port.

 

Any solutions on how to get the usb-c port to charge and accept video signal again?
