HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eh0090wm

Probably since the latest AMD display adapter update, the screen brightness on this laptop won't surpass 50%. Instead of brightening, it starts dimming more and more, where 100% is similar to 0% (the most dim). In the process of attempting to get brighter past 50% the screen flickers (between different brightness levels, not ever going black).

The latest AMD display adapter driver is installed, the HP diagnostic tests all came back as good. Uninstalling display and display adapter to generic didn't help, nor reinstalling/updating. This system has the latest, patched Windows 11 x64.

Using funciton keys or the built in monitor brightness in Control Panel yields the same response.

AMD driver version: 31.0.14051.5006 from 4/20/23

Yes, it flickers on startup and in BIOS.

Do I assume that since the graphics are integrated that the entire main board needs to be replaced?

What is the board model?

Thanks.
