Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I recently purchased an Acer SB230 which I'm successfully able to add as a second monitor to my work PC. However when I try to connect it to my HP Spectre personal PC, the monitor can't recognize a signal. It's connected through HDMI. I went to the Intel website and updated all of the drivers to the latest, restarted, etc and that didn't fix.

Any ideas?

Most work PCs nowadays have DisplayPort (DP) connectors and if your work PC is connecting to the monitor using that, the most likely issue is that when you connect the monitor to your PC, it is still looking at the DP jack for the input signal.  In that case, you need to go into the On Screen Display (OSD) menu on the monitor and change the input selection to the HDMI jack.

@WAWood, thanks for trying but that didnt' work. The monitor is looking for HDMI but still not reporting any signal from my HP.

I can't think of any reason the Spectre would NOT send a video signal out the HDMI jack -- so I have nothing else to suggest, sorry.
