HP Touchscreen Chromebook (Version 72.0.3626.117)

I don't understand why with every update for HP Chromebook something goes wrong with the touchscreen or touchpad. This time around the most recent update disabled my ability to scroll on the screen with my finger with my flash game Elvenar. I can still simply tap the screen, but the action of dragging my finger down or up does nothing on the screen when it should be scrolling. What's worse, if I swipe to the right, the browser returns to the previous page I was browsing. It makes no sense. Can someone help me enable the ability to scroll with my finger on the screen? (Please don't advise restoring to factory settings - this did not work unfortunately). Thank you so much.

Welcome to HP Support Community

This is surely an issue with the OS

May I know how did you do the Factory Reset?

I suggest you follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/1080595?hl=en to Recovery your Chromebook

Thank you and have a great day 😊
