Pavillion x360

Almost every time I try to scroll with this terrible (used to be 2 or 3 parts) mouse, clicker, and mouse pad combo I am in trouble. Got this thing several months ago, cannot BELIEVE what they were thinking when they made it like this. I don't want a mouse/pad that LOOKS great if is does NOT work, and believe me it does NOT work. Not only does the screen size increase and push content off to the side--with no apparent way to reverse process--that alone is making me crazy. It IS HARD ON THE WRISTS! There, this design wins the daily double.
There are numerous other ways this mouse whatchamacallit causes problems. Had to exit a site countless times, to resize back to normal, then try to get back to whatever it was I was already doing. Screwed me in Word so badly last night I was up until 4 in the morning before I figured out a fix. That's when I knew for sure this isn't a user error, this is a horrifying design.

Better to admit to that and give us some way to cope with this thing. then to keep telling me I am doing something wrong! (DUH, I bought the thing, right?) I I bought this thinking it was the closest thing to a great little HP laptop I got 10 years ago that seemed indestructible. This new one is still in one piece, at the moment. unless I decide to cut my losses and bounce it off a brick wall. If there is no easy fix, I will be done with HP. Survival, folks, I need my wrists up and running. Computer design should focus on efficient, hassle-free fun for the user. Not a gamer, no social media. I wanted internet access, mail, and typewriter functions which is not much to ask.

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Sorry you are having such difficulty with the mousepad.  I would highly suggest you  purchase a USB mouse that you find comfortable to use!
