On my Envy Laptop (which has touchscreen) whenever I touch the screen my cursor disappeares and is gone until i apply a new cursor in settings. How can I get it to stop?

The Spectre I use does the same thing when touching the screen..it is expected behavior as the laptop assumes you want to use only touch.The cursor comes back if I tap the touchpad. Have you tried that?
