Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Took my notebook to diagnose touchpad problem. Cursor begins to move, open/close programs and windows. Service agent informed me that the touch pad is broken and can not be disabled, no option to on program. Need to physically disconnect and replace. Looking for replacement part for repair.

@SqEarl

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

You can certainly order the part from the parts store: HP Parts StoreHowever, if you are unsure on how to replace it, you can contact the phone support team and they would get the service arranged for you to get it replaced.

Note:  Select the country accordingly to get the contact details for support.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!
