My Built in webcam shows a black screen

Hello, 

My built in Camera shows a black screen when I try to open it. It doesn't show any images at all. I have checked to ensure all my drivers are properly installed and updated. When I open my Camera application installed in the laptop, it shows an error message: "We can't get to the camera roll right now, Something went wrong while accessing the camera roll." If i press the close button on this error message, still nothing shows up, just a blank screen. Please give me a solution as how to fix this.
