Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi

I have HP Envy x360 Convertible 15-eu0013ca (2L7M4UA). The Camera stops working and continues to show me a 0xA00F4244 error message. I have tried all the suggestions I found in this community. But the Camera is still not working. I cannot even see it in the device manager after using "show hidden device". I updated my Windows 11, and I reinstalled everything but the camera is still not working. 

Please I need help

I just went through HP customer support and this worked for me.

  1. Press the button that turns on the privacy screen on the top right of your keyboard. It should have a red dot on now.
  2. Open the camera app.
  3. Turn the privacy screen off.

No idea why this worked for me but it did. My computer was unable to even register a camera before this. Then make sure all system updates are complete on the windows settings and through HP support assistant. Let me know if this worked for you.
