My Chromebook seems possessed

My laptop screen will just randomly start shaking. The mouse will start clicking and opening random tabs and I’m about to throw my computer. I’ve taken video but I don’t see how to attach them here. HELP!

From what you've mentioned so far, this could be a malfunctioning touchscreen (auto-touch) and before you do anything too drastic, here's what we need to do, to identify and resolve the issue:

• Try these steps in the recommended order, even if you've tried any of these steps before:

  And Test after each step to see whether your touchscreen works.

  • Wipe off any dust or dirt on your touchscreen.
  • Reset your Chromebook hardware.
  • Reset your Chromebook to factory settings.
