Hi,
I have an HP Spectre x360 Laptop 15 -eb0043dx and 2 external monitors (HP 27 mqs). Attaching one external monitor works as it should (displays at 3840 x 2160); however, the second monitor will not even give me the choice to select that option. I have repeatedly looked at the Display Options and it only let's me choose 1920 x 1080.
I have downloaded the graphics card from NVIDIA and it does no good.
I did have GeekSquad ponder over it and whatever he did fixed it until I got home and set it all up again. He had said my laptop monitor was set too large (even though that is the recommended setting). He made it smaller and he said he was able to rest the two external monitors to their correct ideal setting (3840 x 2160); however, when I try to do the same at home, it does not allow me to set that 2nd monitor to 3840 x 2160.
I suspect this all started when I tried uninstalling the driver for these monitors because they were not being detected. I can detect them now, but I can't use the 2nd one. Please help. 🙂
