Hi @PNR1212 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Pavilion x360-14-dh1011tu's touchpad isn't working, try these troubleshooting steps:

May I know

1. Since when are you facing this issue

2. Have you made any changes on your PC post that this issue raised

  • Restart your laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve many technical issues.
  • Check touchpad settings: Make sure the touchpad is enabled in your laptop's settings. You can usually find this in the Control Panel or Settings menu under "Devices" or "Mouse and touchpad."
  • Update touchpad drivers: Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause issues. Go to the HP website, find your laptop model, and download the latest touchpad drivers. Install them and restart your laptop.
  • Function key shortcut: Some laptops have a function key (e.g., Fn + F7) that toggles the touchpad on and off. Press this key combination to see if it activates the touchpad.
  • Hardware check: If none of the above steps work, there might be a hardware issue. Check if the touchpad is physically damaged. If it's under warranty, consider contacting HP support for assistance HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures
  • External mouse: As a temporary solution, you can use an external mouse until the touchpad issue is resolved.
