Hello

 

My HP pen (Item model number: 4931873) has stopped working with my laptop (HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-ed0xxx). It has new batteries, so I don't think that is the issue. However, it starts working at random times and then stops. I have tried everything to fix the issue and still haven't found a solution.

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

 

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP ENVY Notebook Pen is not working correctly.  

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date. 
  • Try updating the Pen driver from HP.COM

If issue persist then it could be a hardware issue with the Pen.
