Pavilion x360 14
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought my laptop HP Pavilion x360 14 a month ago, I tried its built in web (HP wide vision HD camera), and I found it has a very poor resolution (nearly VGA not HD).

I tried using the camera in several applications Zoom, Duo...etc. with the same poor quality.

I tried the preinstalled camera application in addition to youcam 9, the same poor quality.

Please advise.

@MShams01,

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the webcam video quality.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.

After taking a picture or video and saving it (or you may use a previously saved picture or video taken with your webcam), use the following steps to determine the webcam resolution.

  1. in File Explorer, navigate to the picture or video.

  2. Right-click the picture or video.

  3. Click Properties.

  4. Select the Details tab and see the webcam resolution.

If you continue facing the issue, then follow the below steps.

  • Make sure your video recording environment has good lighting.

  • Change the image quality, brightness, contrast, and other adjustments in the webcam software.

To resolve problems with choppy playback, take the following actions:

  • Reduce the size of the video image in the webcam software.

  • Use a high-speed Internet connection.

  • Do not use other high-speed USB devices while using the webcam.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
