My camera doesn't work after doing what is said on the support website

This is really just an FYI. I had the same type of problem i.e.. camera appeared to suddenly stop working. I spent a few hours running diagnostics checking drivers etc. Then I noticed a tiny little privacy switch just above the camera lens on my Probook 450 G8. it's the same color as the plastic trim so near impossible to see. I flicked that and all came right. the switch is in just the right place to put your thumb if closing the lid so maybe HP could highlight it in chrome so it's obvious.
