Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have 11 videos I uploaded either from my phone or camera, but when I try to play them I am getting an error message that says "This file isn't playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt. "  The code I get is 0xc00d36c4.  These videos were all taken in 2018, but there are others from the same year that play just fine.

@abaker2020

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

The error code 0xc00d36c4 occurs when you have an unsupported file format. You can try to use different video players to play the problematic video file such as Power DVD player or  VLC player.

As you've confirmed other videos are playing just fine then its something to check with those unsupported videos files. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our HP Smart Friend Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Smart Friend Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
