My webcam wasn't working on Discord, and so I checked on the Camera app and it wasn't working either. I got the error code "0xA00F4244<NoCameraAreAttached>". I followed instructions I'd found online to uninstall the internal webcam in the device manager, and then restart and scan for hardware changes. I did that, but now the internal webcam driver is just completely gone. I need a download to the webcam driver, as far as I know. I looked in the list of drivers for this laptop, and none of them seemed to be the internal webcam itself, and I'm not sure where to find it.
It is necessary for me to have my webcam for video conferences. Please help.

Alright! I did and this is what showed up.
I looked at the properties of the webcam that showed up and got the message "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)
To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

806758-001 -- WEBCAM/MIC, NON TS / TS TOP PANEL
Part number 806758-001 is used in more than 200 HP products.
So now we would want driver software which should be "easy".
Has this been applied?

But ultimately I don't have a definitive answer
Daft idea, but sometimes WebCams get excluded as a Security Measure, so could you have such software.
I looked at the 200 plus products and selected a likely candidate, and it has a camera driver...
