Can anyone help me?

i recently bought this hp pavilion 15-ec 2000 as it was advertised to be 144hz. It even has a 144hz sticker on it. However, Everytime I try to change the refresh rate, the highest one I see is 60hz. I went to the display settings, but I couldn’t see any 144hz. I even opened the Nvidia control panel, but I couldn’t see it as well. Was I deceived or is there an actual way to get the 144hz?

Only for laptop screen, not external. Can you see something like the following image ?

Thank you for replying to my question @Banhien.

Yes it is the laptop display and unfortunately, it does not say 144hz as on the picture that you kindly shared. It still says 60hz and the only other option which doesn’t seem to make sense for me is 40hz. I’ve tried to update the display Driver’s using the manufacturers website, but to no avail. There are usually stickers on the laptop which tell you the gpu and cpu. Mine even has a 144hz sticker on it. Does the hp pavilion 15 ec2000 (2P6B3AV) even come with a 144hz display?
