HP Pavilion - 14-ce3025tu

Right side hinge on my laptop just broke. I tried raising the issue through the Virtual Assistant but just went round in circles. How do I raise this issue with HP. My laptop is out of warranty but I note from other comments that HP will repair at no cost. How do I initiate this?

I posted this a few days ago, since then I watched a few videos on YouTube - there were dozens of them, mostly on HP laptops with broken hinges. So, decided to try and fix the broken hinge myself - many of the videos detail self repairs. After taking the laptop apart I saw what the problem was. The right hand hinge is glued to the lid and this glue had failed. The reason for this was twofold - firstly it was hardly glued on at all as there were just two small spots of glue and secondly the tension on the hinge was very high and this, due to the weak glue, eventually caused the hinge to come apart. I glued it back in place with a lot of epoxy, clamped it and left it overnight. I then reassembled the laptop, but before I did that that I eased the tension on the hinge by unscrewing the small nylock nut a few turns. Now my lid opens smoothly and with ease.

Clearly, the hinge broke due to poor installation - the tension was far too high and the far too small amount of glue used was bound to eventually fail. (I wonder if HP look through these posts and use them for product improvement - sadly I don't think they do as similar posts to mine go back several years.)
