Hi @ANDREETOR,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your laptop is experiencing a hardware issue, possibly related to the display, RAM, or motherboard. The "bi-bi-bi" sound you mentioned is an important clue; this is likely a series of beep codes indicating a hardware problem. Here’s a step-by-step guide to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue:
1. Identify the Beep Codes
- Consult the Manual: Different laptop manufacturers use different beep codes. Check your laptop’s manual or the manufacturer's website to interpret the beep code pattern. Commonly, a sequence of beeps indicates specific hardware issues (e.g., memory, video card, motherboard).
2. Perform a Hard Reset
- Power Down: Shut down the laptop completely.
- Disconnect Power: Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery if it’s removable.
- Discharge Static: Hold down the power button for about 30 seconds to discharge any residual electricity.
- Reconnect Power: Reinsert the battery and plug in the power adapter.
- Power On: Try to turn on the laptop again.
3. Check the Display
- External Monitor: Connect your laptop to an external monitor to see if the issue is with the internal display. If the external monitor works, the problem might be with the laptop's display or its connections.
- Brightness: Make sure the brightness settings are not turned down too low.
4. Reseat RAM Modules
- Turn Off and Unplug: Make sure the laptop is completely powered down and unplugged.
- Open the Laptop: Open the access panel to the RAM modules (refer to your laptop’s manual for instructions).
- Reseat RAM: Carefully remove the RAM modules and reinsert them firmly into their slots.
- Power On: Try turning the laptop on again.
5. Check for Loose Connections
- Open the Laptop: If you're comfortable doing so, open the laptop and check for any loose or disconnected internal cables, especially those connected to the display.
6. Remove Peripherals
- Disconnect All Peripherals: Unplug any external devices (USB drives, external hard drives, etc.) and try powering on the laptop again.
7. Reset BIOS/UEFI
- Access BIOS/UEFI: Try accessing the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing the designated key (usually F2, F10, DEL, or ESC) during startup.
- Reset to Default: If you can access BIOS/UEFI, select the option to reset to default settings.
8. Check for Hardware Issues
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
