Spectre 360x

Hello,

the pen that came with my spectre notebook does not work properly. It only draws lines which look like electricity waves. I've tried different programs. It does not even work on the windows ink work space or regular pdf. I don't think it is the screen, as it works when I draw with my finger. I've changed the tips, no change. I haven't seen the same problem in the forum.

Can anyone help, please?

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. As you've performed relevant troubleshooting steps and the issue persists, it sounds like hardware related issue with the HP PEN. I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options for your laptop. 

 

Also you can try BIOS Update: Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629

 

HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:

  • Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
  • Select the product type.
  • Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
  • Select the country from the drop-down.
  • You should see the HP support number or Chat option listed
