@Dušan3Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the screen not working!
Looks like your laptop decided to embrace modern art with a green pixel mosaic—let’s bring it back to reality!

It sounds like your laptop is experiencing a display or GPU-related issue, possibly due to an incorrect refresh rate setting or a hardware malfunction. The "Out of Range" error suggests that the display is set to a refresh rate your monitor doesn't support. Here’s what you can try:

Boot into Safe Mode:

  • Power off your laptop completely.
  • Turn it back on and repeatedly press F8 (or Shift + F8) before the Windows logo appears.
  • Select Safe Mode with Networking and adjust the display settings to a supported refresh rate (e.g., 60Hz).

External Monitor Check:

  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor via HDMI/DisplayPort.
  • If the external monitor works fine, your laptop’s built-in display or cable may be faulty.

Reset Display Settings:

  • If you can boot into Windows, go to Settings > Display > Advanced Display Settings and lower the refresh rate.

Reinstall Graphics Drivers:

  • If you can access Safe Mode, uninstall and reinstall your GPU drivers via Device Manager

Let me  know if you need further guidance!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
