Hi @AndreaRodrigues

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds frustrating to deal with touchpad issues on your HP Spectre X360. Here are some steps and tips that might help resolve the problem.

Update Drivers

Since you mentioned you can't find a driver for your Windows version, here's how you can update it:

Device Manager:

  • Right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager."
  • Expand the "Mice and other pointing devices" category.
  • Right-click on your touchpad device (it might be listed as "Synaptics" or "HID-compliant mouse") and select "Update driver."
  • Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software" and let Windows find and install the latest driver.

HP Support:

  • Visit the HP Support website specific to your laptop model.
  • Enter your laptop's serial number or let the website detect your model automatically.
  • Look for the latest touchpad driver under the "Driver - Keyboard, Mouse, and Input Devices" section and download it.

Windows Update

Ensure your Windows 11 is fully updated, including optional updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Click on "Check for updates" and install any pending updates, including optional ones that might offer driver updates.

Touchpad Settings

Check the touchpad settings to ensure everything is configured correctly:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad.
  • Adjust settings such as sensitivity, tapping, scrolling, etc., according to your preferences.

BIOS Update

Sometimes, BIOS updates include fixes for hardware-related issues:

  • Visit the HP Support website and check if there's a BIOS update available for your laptop model.
  • Follow the instructions provided by HP to update your BIOS.

Additional Tips:

  • External Mouse: As a temporary workaround, you could use an external mouse while troubleshooting the touchpad.
  • System Restore: If the issue started recently, consider using System Restore to revert your system to a point where the touchpad was working correctly.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the touchpad issue on your HP Spectre X360 running Windows 11.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
