Hello,
I have an HP laptop (HP Victus 16-e0035nt) running Windows 11 Home Single Language 26300. The laptop has hybrid graphics: AMD Radeon Graphics (integrated) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (dedicated).
The problem
In Device Manager, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 appears with a yellow warning triangle. Its properties show Error Code 43 (“Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems”). The “NVIDIA High Definition Audio” device under Sound, video and game controllers also has a warning triangle. The AMD Radeon Graphics adapter appears to work normally.
What I have already tried
- Downloaded the latest GeForce Game Ready driver (dated October 21, 2026) directly from NVIDIA’s website and installed it. The installation completes, but the GPU still shows Code 43.
- Used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove both the AMD and the NVIDIA graphics drivers.
- After rebooting, performed a fresh, clean installation of the latest NVIDIA driver from NVIDIA’s website.
- Result: the problem persists. The GTX 1650 still shows Code 43.
My questions
- Is this a known issue on this HP model with the latest NVIDIA drivers? Is there a recommended HP-specific NVIDIA driver version for this model?
- Are there any BIOS, chipset, or AMD graphics driver updates from HP that fix hybrid graphics problems with the GTX 1650?
- If all software fixes fail, could this indicate a hardware fault with the dedicated GPU, and would the laptop be covered by warranty?
I can provide any additional information if needed (BIOS version, driver versions, screenshots of Device Manager, dxdiag output, etc.).
Thank you in advance for your help.
