HP ENVY X360 - 13-ar0501sa
Microsoft Windows 11

I currently have one external VDU connected to my HP ENVY X360 - 13-ar0501sa laptop via an HDMI cable but would like to add another one. Does anyone have any recommendations on which type of dock I need to buy to add a second VDU via HDMI?

Its specs

You should be able to add 1 more monitor using  USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (5 Gb/s signaling rate, Power Delivery 3.0, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port. You can use USB-C monitor or USB-C to DP monitor with a compatible USB-C to DP (no conversion) cable).

Hi @banhien

Thanks for the speedy reply. My Envy only has one USB-C port and I am already using this with a USB-C/HDMI adapter and HDMI cable to connect to one external monitor. Is there a dock or an adapter for USB-C to multiple HDMI/DP that I can use at all?

I am running Windows 11.

Sorry, I misread its specs, I thought it already has HDMI port. Anyway, the HP USB-C Gen 5 dock is a good candidate to allow you to connect up to 3 monitors. Please read more info for that dock

Note: does you monitor have DP port in and DP port out ? You can daisy chain 2 monitors and no need to have a dock.

Regards.
