HP Pavilion x2 - 10-n113dx

I am unable to find the correct driver for this touchpad. The hp driver downloads provide both an ELAN and SYNAPTIC set of drivers but neither work. The default windows driver does not allow scrolling. Device ID is HID\VID04F3&PID_074D&MI_01&COL01.

Hi:

When I check your notebook's support page, this is the latest driver available and I don't see any Synaptics touchpad drivers listed.

Driver - HP Pavilion x2 - 10-n113dx (ENERGY STAR) | HP® Customer Support

Try manually installing the driver from the touchpad (HID\VID04F3&PID_074D) device if the auto install method doesn't work.

The above driver's setup information file does show driver support for the hardware ID you posted.

[Manufacturer]
%VenderName% = ELAN.Mfg, NTamd64.6.2, NTamd64.6.3, NTamd64.10.0

[ELAN.Mfg.NTamd64.6.2]
;%ELANHIDUSBDeviceDesc% = ETD_STD_Inst, *PNP0F13,*PNP0F0E,*PNP0F03,*PNP0F12,*PNP0F0B ; Compatible ID
;%ELANHIDUSBDeviceDesc% = ETD_STD_Inst, *ETD0000
%ELANHIDUSBDeviceDesc% = ETD_STD_Inst, HID\VID_04F3&PID_074D&MI_01&Col01
