I recently bought a hp envy 2 in 1 laptop that did not include stylus pen. I am having trouble finding one that is capable with my new laptop. My last resort is to return the product I only purchased the laptop because of the features it has but i never received a stylus with the product.

@Dee24455, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding compatible stylus pen!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
When it comes to finding a compatible stylus for your HP Envy 2-in-1 laptop, it's essential to understand the different types of stylus pens and their compatibility with touch screen devices. Here is a detailed guide to help you select the right stylus:
Types of Stylus Pens:
Active Stylus (Digital Stylus):
- Requires a power source (usually batteries).
- Features a small and precise tip.
- Pressure sensitive, capable of right-click and hover functions.
- Supports palm rejection technology and might have an erase button or eraser tip.
- Works on select computer and tablet models with a built-in digitizer.
Passive Stylus (Capacitive Stylus):
- Functions similarly to a finger on the touch screen.
- Does not require batteries.
- Features a larger tip, often made of rubber or conductive foam.
- Universal compatibility with most touch screen devices.
Compatibility Details for HP Envy 2-in-1:
To ensure compatibility, you’ll need to verify if your HP Envy 2-in-1 laptop supports an active stylus and has the necessary digitizer built into the screen:
- Check the Laptop Documentation: Your laptop's user manual or product specifications should indicate whether it supports an active stylus.
- Visit HP's Official Support Page: You can find detailed product information, including stylus compatibility, on the HP support website.
Specific Stylus Recommendation for HP Envy 2-in-1:
If your HP Envy 2-in-1 supports active styluses, the HP Active Pen or HP Tilt Pen may be compatible with your laptop. These pens often feature the following:
- Pressure sensitivity for precise drawing.
- Palm rejection technology.
- Enabled for creating varied line widths and shades by changing pressure.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
