I want to use this laptop with 2 Dell monitors so I can work concurrently on both of them.  The laptop has 1 USB-C (not thunderbolt), 2 USB-A and 1 HDMI ports.  The Dell monitors each have a Displayport, USB 3 and and HDMI port.  Can someone help me figure out which docking station I need to make this work?

Your machine is an HP Laptop 14-dq2035cl, its specs

         https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06970603

It has

1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate; 2 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate; 1 HDMI 1.4b; 1 AC smart pin; 1 headphone/microphone combo

You can't use USB-C port for external monitor.  If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)
