My HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-vl0XX stopped displaying to my external LG 27" monitor from the internal HDMI Port.
I have been running dual 27" LG monitors from the laptop since 2018 with no issues.
1 monitor from the internal HDMI port on the laptop
1 monitor from the USB-c port through a J5Create mini hub
1. When I connect the HDMI cable, to the internal HDMI port the Laptop detects the external monitor in the display settings, but there is no input detected on the monitor
2. When I connect the same HDMI cable to an external HDMI Port from the USB-c through the "J5 create" the display is also detected and there is a successful input and display on the same monitor
I believe the internal HDMI connection may need to be replaced .
Looking for alternatives
Thanks
