No backlight on HP Pavilion 15z-cw100 in white?

Hello, 

I am unable to use my keyboard backlight. The f5 key is blank and only refreshes when holdinf fn+f5. I have also tried alternate function keys. I chose white as my computer color, does this mean I do not have a backlit keyboard?

Hi,

It is not the color of the keyboard. In that series, the keyboard can be bought with backlight and without backlight. It just depends on what you purchase. If there is no backlight symbol on the F5 Key you have a model without a backlit keyboard.
