Recently, my laptop ICs had been damaged somehow so I took it to a local repair shop. They repaired it and then the laptop was working just fine but when I restarted it the same night, it wasn’t showing any display anymore after turning off. There was just a black screen but the fan was running full speed. Also, whenever I turn off the laptop through the power button, there is a slight flicker on screen. I then tried hard resetting it by taking out the battery and the charging plug and then pressed the power button for a good 20 seconds and then I tried and it didn’t work. I did the same thing and then left the laptop without the battery and plug for an hour or so and then I tried again and the laptop turned on. This went on for a day or two. Whenever the laptop shut down, I used to hard reset and then leave it for an hour and it used to turn on. Since, it were working days so I couldn’t take the time out to repair it at a shop. After a little while, I realised that if I put the laptop to sleep, it turned on without any hassle and I started implementing that trick but last night I accidentally shut down and now it’s not working even after waiting for an hour or two after hard resetting. Also, whenever I turn it on, it gives a CMOS error or something and then I continue to the normal startup and it starts. This had been my issue for this week and I am kind of tired of it. I am taking it to another repair shop tomorrow but I am kind of antsy that maybe they will worsen it’s situation. I don’t have any official HP Support Franchise nearby so that’s not really an option. Thanks for reading such a long message and I hope I get some real help soon.
