Envy x360 15-dr0004ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Envy x360 15-dr0004ng Laptop and there is no way for me to output any display signal.Neither through HDMI nor by Wireless Display. When I select "Extend" after pressing "Win + P" it doesn't react and when I do it again the selection is reset to "PC Screen only". When I try to connect to a wireless display it says it's connected but it fails after some time without displaying anything. I think the connection works but there is just no display signal and that's why it cancels after some time.

I updated every possible driver and nothing works, I just don't know what to do now. This is obviously an essential feature and I really need it for school. If there is no driver update that fixes it I guess I have to send my Laptop in and get it replaced?

It is really frustrating, I hope someone can help.

Thanks, David

The specs of your machine is

It has HDMI port, by default you can connect it to an external monitor and only Plug and Play UNLESS you were massing around with your machine. What is your monitor ?

Regards.

I just restarted my device after updating drivers again and now it works. Looks like it was actually a driver issue, as I said, and not my fault. Accusing me right away of messing with my machine is a little rude, don't you think? Especially now that we know that the issue was clearly on HP's side.

Anyway, have a nice day!
