Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I usually use the display Dell U2520D with a laptop via a C to C cable. 
Now I try with a HP Pavilion 14 dv0516TU, but it didn’t work. The display showed a message, it says there is no signal. 
I read both documents of the laptop and the display, they should be able to work together. Due to they support the same DP version via type C cable. 
Does anyone use this laptop with a type C display? Could you please tell me how to make it work?
