Hi @Samruddhi1943,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the touchpad on your OMEN 16.1 Inch Gaming Laptop, and it's disappointing that you haven't seen any resolution despite registering a case. Here are some steps you can take to address the problem.

  • Check for Driver Updates: Make sure that your touchpad drivers are up-to-date. Visit our official HP website to download and install the latest drivers.
  • Update System Software: Ensure that your operating system is up-to-date. Sometimes, system updates include fixes for hardware-related issues.
  • Check Touchpad Settings: Go into the touchpad settings on your laptop and see if there are any adjustments or sensitivity settings that could be affecting its performance. You can often find these settings in the "Mouse and touchpad" or "Touchpad" section in the system settings.
  • Perform a System Restart: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Restart your laptop and see if the touchpad performance improves.
  • Consider a Factory Reset: If all else fails, you might consider performing a factory reset on your laptop. However, make sure to back up your important data before doing this, as it will restore your laptop to its original state.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
