Hi @Titu2,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to pair your HP Pen with your HP Spectre x360 laptop running Windows 11, follow these steps:
1. Check Pen Compatibility
- Ensure that your HP Pen is compatible with your HP Spectre x360. Most HP Spectre models support HP pens that work with Windows Ink and Wacom technology. If you have a specific HP Pen model, check the documentation to ensure compatibility.
2. Check Bluetooth Settings
- Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled:
- Press Windows + A to open the Action Center.
- Click on the Bluetooth icon (if available) and ensure it is turned on.
- Alternatively, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and ensure Bluetooth is on.
3. Prepare Your HP Pen for Pairing
- If your HP Pen has a Bluetooth button (typically located on the side or back), press and hold it for about 5 seconds to make it discoverable. If it doesn’t have a button, it should automatically pair when you bring it close to the laptop.
4. Pair the HP Pen
- Via Bluetooth:
- Open Settings on your laptop and navigate to Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
- Click on Add Bluetooth or other device.
- Select Bluetooth and wait for your HP Pen to appear in the list of available devices.
- Click on the pen when it appears, and follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.
5. Check Windows Ink Settings
- Go to Settings > Devices > Pen & Windows Ink to ensure the pen is recognized and that the correct settings for pen input are enabled.
6. Test the Pen
- Open a program that supports stylus input (e.g., Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Whiteboard, or the Windows Ink Workspace) to test the pen’s functionality. Write or draw to check if it’s working correctly.
Troubleshooting:
- If the pen still doesn't pair, try restarting your laptop and repeating the pairing steps.
- Ensure that your laptop’s Bluetooth drivers are up to date by going to Device Manager > Bluetooth > right-click your Bluetooth device > Update driver.
If the pen still doesn't work after trying these steps, there may be an issue with the pen itself or a deeper configuration issue on your system.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
