HP EliteBook 660 16 inch G11 Notebook PC (902F3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Dear HP Support

Our HP Elitebook 660 is unable to project though our desktop assembly using a human scale dock connected by USB-C cable.  The monitor in use is a VX2467.
We have updated all necessary dock driver, computer driver and monitor configuration.

How can we get this laptop to project with our existing desktop assembly, do you have a solution so we can project?

If we can't get this going, we will need to return the laptop to HP for a full refund due to incompatibility.

Regards,

Bob Cruz

Thanks for connecting with us through the HP Community!

We understand that your HP EliteBook 660 16-inch G11 Notebook PC is not projecting through the Human Scale dock when connected via USB-C, even after updating all drivers and configurations. We truly appreciate the steps you’ve already taken to resolve this.

To assist you further, please try the following steps:

  1. Check the dock connection: Ensure the USB-C cable is firmly connected to both the dock and the notebook’s Thunderbolt/USB-C port.

  2. Test direct connection: Connect the VX2467 monitor directly to the laptop using an HDMI or DisplayPort cable to confirm display functionality.

  3. Verify display settings:

    • Press Windows + P → select Extend or Duplicate.

    • Go to Settings > System > Display > Multiple Displays and detect displays manually.

  4. Update dock firmware: Visit the manufacturer’s support page for any firmware updates specific to your dock model.

  5. Try another dock or cable: This will help confirm if the issue lies with the dock or the laptop’s output port.

If the display works correctly when connected directly but not through the dock, the compatibility between the Human Scale dock and this notebook model may be limited. In that case, we can help identify HP-recommended docks that are fully compatible with the EliteBook 660 series.

Please send us a private message along with the exact model of your Human Scale dock so we can verify compatibility and share further guidance.
