OMEN Transcend 14 inch Gaming Laptop PC 14-fb1000 (C52FJAV)

Subject: RTX 5060 Laptop GPU Not Detected — OMEN Transcend 14 (14-fb1013dx)

Serial Number:
Product ID: B94GQUA#ABA
Model: OMEN Transcend 14 Gaming Laptop, 14-fb1013dx

Issue:
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU is not being detected by Windows or by NVIDIA's driver installer. I'm unable to connect external monitors through the HDMI or USB-C ports, as neither display is recognized in NVIDIA Control Panel.

Troubleshooting already completed:
- Confirmed BIOS is fully up to date
- Ran Windows Update and installed all available driver updates
- Used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in normal mode to fully remove the existing NVIDIA driver
- Attempted a fresh driver install directly from nvidia.com (version 597.06) — installer returns "NVIDIA Installer cannot continue: No NVIDIA GPU is detected on your system"
- Attempted install of HP's packaged NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver (SoftPaq sp171808) through HP Support Assistant — this installation crashed and failed to complete
- Checked Device Manager: RTX 5060 appears under Display Adapters but shows Code 10 ("This device cannot start")
- Toggled OMEN Gaming Hub's Graphics Switcher between Hybrid and Discrete modes — no change in detection
- Ran HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (Device Check → Video → Video Memory Fast Check and Video Extended Memory Check) — both tests only detected and passed the integrated Intel(R) Arc(TM) 140T GPU. The RTX 5060 did not appear in the diagnostic at all, even though this test runs independently of Windows and the NVIDIA driver.

Given that HP's own hardware diagnostic tool cannot detect the RTX 5060, this appears to be a hardware-level issue rather than a software/driver conflict.

I understand the laptop is currently out of warranty. I'd like to know:
1. Whether this is a known issue with this model/GPU batch
2. What diagnostic or repair options are available, and associated costs
3. Whether a paid remote diagnostic is available before committing to repair

Happy to provide additional logs, screenshots, or run further diagnostics as needed.

Thank you,
Will Armstead
